Specialist safeguarding training designed exclusively for churches and faith communities — delivered online by a qualified social worker with 5+ years inside a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub.
"I don't just teach safeguarding — I've lived it. I know what happens when a referral comes in, and what happens when no one acts."
Generic safeguarding training wasn't built for faith communities. Ours was.
Delivered by a committed Christian who understands the culture, language and dynamics of church life — including the unique risks that come with pastoral trust.
Our trainer has worked inside a MASH team for over 5 years — receiving referrals, making decisions, and seeing first-hand what works and what doesn't.
Delivered via Zoom — no venue costs, no travel, no disruption. Book for your whole leadership team or open it to all volunteers. Nationwide reach.
Based on Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023 and Charity Commission requirements. We keep you compliant, not just informed.
Every attendee receives a certificate of attendance — useful for your church's safeguarding records, trustee reporting and annual reviews.
We don't come to criticise — we come to equip. Sessions are practical, warm and encouraging. You'll leave feeling confident, not overwhelmed.
Nine practical modules covering everything your church needs — delivered in one powerful 3.5 hour session, fully updated for Working Together 2026.
Understanding the unique risks in church communities, high-profile case lessons, and your legal obligations as a church organisation.
The four categories of abuse, signs to watch for in children and vulnerable adults, and real-world scenarios relevant to church life.
What constitutes a concern versus what needs reporting, the new Family Help framework, and what actually happens when you call children's services.
Step-by-step guidance for responding to concerns, receiving a disclosure, and who to contact. Including what NOT to do.
A distinct and often hidden form of abuse. How it presents, the spectrum from unhealthy to abusive, and how to respond with confidence.
Risk assessments, supervision ratios, consent and what to put in place before taking children or young people off-site.
Consent before taking or sharing images, the real risks of posting online, and building a policy for your website and social media.
What your safeguarding policy must include, DBS requirements, and how to build a church culture where people feel safe to speak up.
Interactive scenario exercises, open Q&A, and three clear actions your church can take immediately after the session.
Not just a trainer — a practitioner who has spent years on the frontline of child protection.
Keystone Safeguarding Practice was founded by Paul Enyagberue, a qualified and registered social worker with over five years of specialist experience working inside a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) — the frontline team that receives, triages and acts on safeguarding referrals for children and vulnerable adults.
As a committed Christian attending church in the UK, Paul recognised a significant gap: faith communities wanted to do the right thing, but often lacked the practical knowledge to act with confidence when something didn't seem right.
Keystone Safeguarding Practice was created to bridge that gap — bringing the knowledge of the frontline directly into the heart of the church, in a way that is accessible, culturally sensitive and practically useful.
